Befriending Yourself - Loving the World
A weekend workshop hosted by Tergar Medford and Kagyu Sukha Chöling

With Tergar Instructor Tim Olmsted
Online via Zoom

Friday (6:30 – 8 pm) Pacific time

Saturday and Sunday (9 am – 4 pm with 1 hour lunch) Pacific time

In these turbulent times, the very idea of staying open and connected to others seems utterly far-fetched. And yet, the quality of our lives, and life itself, is completely dependent on the well-being of the entire human family. The key to discovering and opening to this reality rests on our ability to navigate our life by actively working with our perception of others and the world altogether. By adopting an open, inviting and sympathetic attitude to the world we can, finally, relax into a way of being that is at peace and intimately connected to the world around us. Along the way, we discover a world that is rich, workable, and fundamentally good. In this weekend retreat, we’ll discover how to use the energy and richness of life, our thoughts and emotions, our hopes and fears and our work and relationships as the foundation for discovering a truly “sacred world”.

In this weekend workshop with Tergar Instructor Tim Olmsted, we’ll explore this beautiful and profound journey through teaching, discussions, and sessions of meditation. This weekend program is open to anyone interested in transforming their heart and experience of the world, experienced meditators and those who are just starting out.

Please reach out to medford@tergar.org if you have any questions.
