ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:

Stephanie Wagner had been meditating for several years prior to meeting Mingyur Rinpoche in 2009. Immediately she felt a sense of connection to Rinpoche’s message that anything in daily life can be used as an opportunity to wake up. Stephanie is a trainer and program specialist with Healthy Minds Innovations, where she teaches evidence-based meditation practices and habit formation strategies to people going through the Healthy Minds Program--a well-being program affiliated with the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Merija discovered Tergar Madison in early 2012, and knew right away she’d found a meditation home. "Mingyur Rinpoche’s clarity, humor, and wisdom have deeply transformed my meditation, so it is a huge honor to serve the community by sharing his teachings as a practice leader myself.” Merija works as a psychotherapy provider in downtown Madison, primarily applying Buddhist-based therapies to her work with individuals, couples, and families.
