Description

In Love With the World Book Club

Want to connect with like-minded people, deepen your understanding and experience of meditation, and learn how to live openly and courageously in the midst of the many transitions in our lives, even the most difficult ones?

Join us this summer to explore IN LOVE WITH THE WORLD: A Monk’s Journey Through the Bardos of Living and Dying, by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. In this powerful and unusually candid memoir of learning to face fear, written with Helen Tworkov, Rinpoche reveals the invaluable lessons he learned from his near-death experience and guides readers through the meditation practices that sustained him. This book illuminates how we can all train our minds and transform our fears and the small deaths we face each day into joyful living.

Over the course of six discussion sessions, we will read, meditate and share our responses to this timely text.

The book is available in hard copy, e-book, and audiobook. More information is available at https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/589667/in-love-with-the-world-by-yongey-mingyur-rinpoche/

The book club is led by a Tergar Practice Leader and is open to all. Each session includes optional tea/social time, meditation, and discussion. Please feel free to join any or all of the sessions.
