Movie Night:  Akong - A Remarkable Life with Myoshin Kelley as your Host

Through his powerful message of loving-kindness and compassion and his humanitarian work around the world, Akong Rinpoche has benefitted the lives of countless people.  This film tells his story, from being recognized as a Tulku (reincarnate Lama) in his native Tibet, having to escape the Chinese occupation in 1959 on a hazardous journey through the Himalayas, his struggles, accomplishments and how he became one of the pioneers of Tibetan Buddhism in the West.
